L. Michele Robbins
Vice President of Client and Consultant Relations
In her role as Vice President of Client and Consultant Relations, Ms. Robbins serves as a liaison between River Road’s investment team and the firm’s clients.  She has more than 27 years of investment industry experience.  Prior to joining River Road, she held various positions with JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA; SMC Capital, Inc. (Commonwealth SMC); Aquila Management of New York; and J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, Inc.  

Ms. Robbins attended the University of Kentucky and holds Series 7 and Series 24 securities licenses.

Katrina Howard O’Leary
Vice President of Client and Consultant Relations
Ms. O’Leary serves as Vice President of Client and Consultant Relations and is responsible for managing relationships with institutional investment consultants and plan sponsors. She previously served as Director of Business Development and Client Service at Opus Capital Management, worked in consultant relations at Madison Square Investors, and held several positions at New York Life Investment Management.

Ms. O’Leary graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing.  Additionally, Ms. O’Leary holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.

Barbara A. DeFerraro
Executive Assistant
Ms. DeFerraro serves as Executive Assistant.  In this role, she provides general administrative support for River Road’s President and CEO.  Ms. DeFerraro began her career in the investment industry more than 20 years ago and has held a variety of securities trading and client administration roles. Prior to joining River Road, she worked with the firm’s founders at SMC Capital, Inc. (Commonwealth SMC). 

Ms. DeFerraro attended the University of Louisville.

Shannon M. Burnett
Director of Client Services
Ms. Burnett serves as Director of Client Services.  In this role, Ms. Burnett is responsible for managing all internal client services and client communications functions at River Road.  She has over 11 years of investment industry experience.  Prior to joining River Road, Ms. Burnett served as Director of Marketing Relations at Integrity Asset Management and held various marketing positions at INVESCO Institutional.

Ms. Burnett earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Louisville and an M.B.A. from Bellarmine University.

Lauren M. Rambo
Client Communications Specialist
Ms. Rambo serves as Client Communications Specialist.  In this role, Ms. Rambo is responsible for the quality and development of the firm’s collateral.

Ms. Rambo graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a B.A. in Communication Theory.

Traci M. Metzger
Client Communications Coordinator
Ms. Metzger serves as Client Communications Coordinator.  She is responsible for completing Requests for Proposal/Information, maintaining consultant databases, and managing the firm’s website.  Ms. Metzger also handles special assignments from the Executive Committee. 

Ms. Metzger earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics.

James W. Kapfhammer, Jr.
Client Services Coordinator
Mr. Kapfhammer serves as Client Services Coordinator.  Mr. Kapfhammer assists the firm’s Client Services department with daily client support and maintains all service related systems and processes.

Mr. Kapfhammer earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of Louisville.  Mr. Kapfhammer is a Level II candidate in the CFA program.

Megan E. Stinson
Client Communications Coordinator
Ms. Stinson serves as Client Communications Coordinator.  In this role, she is responsible for assisting with the production and maintenance of the firm’s collateral. 

Ms. Stinson graduated summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University as a Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a B.S. in Marketing and Management.

Erin L. Parker
Administrative Coordinator
Ms. Parker serves as Administrative Coordinator.  She handles a variety of office operations and administrative functions, including client service administration. 

Ms. Parker graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communications.
